Bhante Prashil Ratna Gautam, Founder President of Sanghakaya Foundation, was born in Nagpur, India, in a Buddhist family with compassionate values. He studied at Nagpur University, earning degrees in (link unavailable), M.A. in Buddhist Studies, Psychology, and Ambedkar Thoughts. He also completed a Diploma in Hotel Management from Goa.
The main intention behind forming this organization is to serve marginalized people seeking a better life, including Buddhist monks and nuns, and to propagate the message of Buddha, which emphasizes compassion, peace, care, cleanliness, politeness, and mindfulness through meditation.
We have organized many international Buddhist peace conferences, meditation camps, and Sangha Dana (Donation Ceremony). Let’s work together to make this world more compassionate. A compassionate mind can solve many problems.”
